A A Yewon that originally was kinda a dirty image, until I scrubbed it up to be clean as new fallen snow. You can imagine what it was originally.

A gift that I started drawing eons ago and finally finished over at Katie-W’s house. Pencil, Copic, Copic Liner, White Gel Pen. It’s Yarrow and Yewon being all lovey dovey.
In 2007, while staying in the hospital (I wasn’t the one sick) I would stay up late late at night and draw and color out in an empty lobby. I was under a lot of stress, but I would crank out so many images due to needing an outlet. The picture on the right was one of those. It’s always done quite well at art shows and conventions, so I decided to revisit it and make it a new set of limited edition watercolor prints. There’s a few subtle changes, and certainly a stylistic change as well. I still like the one on the right, just not enough to sell it anymore. So, hope this new version will take its place!
The picture on the left will be a set of 13×19 watercolor prints sold only at Sakuracon this year. I haven’t yet decided on if it’ll be available as any other print size.
This is a remake of an image from early 2007! I’m redrawing/coloring it to make for 13×19 prints at Sakuracon, on my favorite Watercolor Paper. The old one always does well at conventions, so I figured it was time for a facelift. I will be slapping craploads of texture over it however, so this is pretty much a flat-wip for now.

Today has really tried my patience and kicked my anxiety into high gear. I never thought that I’d run into such unprofessionalism when dealing with getting a kidney transplant. Today I was basically told “I’m not sure if you’re ready for this.” This meaning a transplant. This meaning a normal life. Second time now, this woman has been so condescending to me – and for no reason other then there was a month gap of communication. We both went on vacation, and I missed one call. Apparently this means I’m slacking off, and uninterested in getting a transplant.
She has yet to call me back, even if I’ve tried every avenue to contact her. I have alerted my doctor to her behavior, and should she not completely turn her attitude around I will be taking my business to another transplant hospital. You’d think they’d be a little bit more courteous to someone worth half a million to their hospital. (maybe more, transplants are insane expensive!) But no, of course, I get stuck with the one coordinator with a stick up her rear end.
It’s bad enough that she treats me this way, but she has also chewed out my mother – something I find even more infuriating as my mom has nothing to do with this other then be absolutely %100 supportive and helpful to me. This coordinator needs to be more compassionate or she’ll lose her patients.
Fulfilling a little request from Kusatsu! Tea Time Yewon is best Yewon. As always if anyone has any requests featuring characters I draw, feel free to let me know! I like ideas coming from other sources, as I’ve been kinda blank lately.
